The Ginger has been shortened to The Ginge (‘jinj) aka The Ginge(r) – Combining ludicrously good vocals, soaring lead guitar and a driving rhythm section, The Ginge is part covers, part original music, and all ENTERTAINMENT!  Covers can range from old school to this week's latest hit.  Originals are steeped in soulful rhythm and blues, Americana and Rock n' Roll. Whatever the date requires, we'll oblige.  This band's extensive and far-reaching repertoire will bring an infectious energy to any venue, event or private party.

For the 8th year in a row, 101.9 WTMX has selected The Ginge to headline The Mix’s summer concert series, titled "Party in the Park".    Put Thursday JUNE 27th, 2013 on your Calendar and bring some friends to picturesque Millennium Park to get your Ginge on!











Another Summer Festival Season!





Ah, Summer festival time - the most wonderful time of year!  The Ginge was honored to perform at numerous local Festivals in 2012, including the Lincoln Park Arts and Music Fest and more.  We're working on the 2013 schedule now.  Stay warm and stay tuned to our Shows page.









The Ginge Partners with Children’s Memorial Hospital.



For 125 years, Children’s Memorial Hospital has been treating the area most critically ill children.  The Ginge is proud to help support those in need at Children’s Memorial.   In our continuing effort to support one of the most worthwhile causes, the Ginge has agreed to donate all proceeds from its Continental Anyone? 2005 release to Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago.   So buy a CD - great music for a great cause!



Also a regular tradition is our CONCERT FOR THE KIDS series, the last of which raised over $3,000 for our favorite charity.  Keep an eye out for the next 'un.  To date, The Ginge has donated many thousands to this great institution.
